Goods-in-transit insurance (£10,000 minimum) - required even for a few hours a week

Every van size works part-time

Small van
£36/hr, £46.80 on evenings and weekends. Single-item and small-delivery jobs that slot neatly into a free evening.
SWB van
£40.50/hr, £52.65 with the 1.3x uplift. The highest booking volume of any size - the easiest van to fill a spare evening with.
MWB van
£40.50/hr, £52.65 uplifted. Flat-pack, appliance and multi-item runs - reliable weekday evening work in most towns.
LWB van
£45/hr, £58.50 on evenings and weekends. Sofa and small-move jobs that make a Saturday morning genuinely pay.
Luton
£49.50/hr, £64.35 uplifted. Fewer but longer bookings - the best fit if your free time comes in half-day weekend blocks.
