The booking flow looks simple because the complicated bits happen on the operator side. Here is what actually runs in the background the moment you confirm, so you know exactly what to expect while you are waiting on the hard shoulder or in the Tesco car park.

  1. Dispatch (zero to sixty seconds). The job is auto-routed to the three nearest available operators. The first to accept wins the job. You see their name, photo, van plate and live position on a map as soon as acceptance happens.
  2. Pre-arrival chat (in transit). The operator can message you through the app to confirm access, parking, gate codes or any detail that will save five minutes on arrival. You can reply with photos, voice notes or text - whatever is easier in the moment.
  3. Arrival and work. The operator signs in at your location, runs a quick diagnostic if it is a breakdown, and starts the job. Every step is logged to the booking record - useful later if you need to claim on insurance or dispute a charge.

How do I create a TowManVan account?

Is it free to sign up?

Yes. Account creation is completely free - no joining fee, no monthly subscription, no minimum usage. You only pay the fixed price when you book a service, and the price is shown before you confirm.

Do I need to add a card before browsing?

No. You can browse prices and availability without adding a payment method. A card is required only when you confirm a booking, and the fixed price is shown before any charge is authorised.

What if I do not have a UK address?

TowManVan serves UK addresses only. You do not need to live in the UK permanently - visitors, tourists and temporary residents can book as long as the pickup address is within our UK service area.

Can I use TowManVan for a company vehicle?

Yes. Business and fleet bookings are supported. Add the vehicle registration and the company card to your account - receipts are automatically emailed to the billing address and VAT invoices issue inside thirty minutes of completion.

How do I delete my account?

Open the app, go to Account settings, and tap Delete account. All personal data is purged within 30 days in line with UK GDPR. Historical bookings are retained for legal and tax records per UK tax law.

How does TowManVan compare to AA or RAC membership?

Is my payment information stored securely?
