NW10 wraps around one of the largest industrial estates in the country, threaded by railway lines, the Grand Union Canal and the North Circular. TowManVan covers Willesden, Harlesden, Kensal Green and Stonebridge from £49, pinned before a vehicle is released. The 22 minute mark is what operators aim to beat. Low bridges and working vans dominate the job list here in a way they do not elsewhere in north west London.
NW10 recovery is priced from £49, pinned before a vehicle is released rather than assembled afterwards. Coverage spans Willesden and Harlesden, Kensal Green, Stonebridge, the Park Royal estate and the roads feeding the North Circular, and the 22 minute mark is what operators aim to beat. A booking takes seconds, the approaching truck is visible throughout, and payment leaves a stored card or a phone wallet. Darkness changes nothing about the rate.

Van left standing over a long weekend, nothing at the key. Started and output read.
Industrial estate debris punctures tyres daily. Replacement fitted where you halt.
Keys shut in a van on Acton Lane? Opened with the lock and door skin untouched.
Tank empty on the North Circular, or a misfuel. Clean fuel out, wrong fuel drawn.
Fault chased at the kerb first, which keeps plenty of NW10 vans on the road.
The industrial estate on the southern side of the postcode is vast, and almost everything moving through it is a working vehicle carrying something. When one of those stops, a delivery round stops with it. Loading a laden van behaves nothing like loading an empty car, so what is aboard gets established before straps are chosen, and the driver usually cares as much about the load as the van.
Several routes converge here on embankments and viaducts, and the local roads pass beneath them through arches with fixed clearances. Those clearances matter enormously to an outfit carrying a raised bed. A route that a car takes without a thought can be entirely closed to a recovery truck, so approaches are planned around the crossings that actually admit one.
The High Street and the roads meeting at Craven Park carry buses, deliveries and dense pedestrian movement across a compact area with restricted stopping. There is no spare kerb to push a failed car onto. Work here is brief and planned: the position is fixed before the truck turns in, the lift is done, and the vehicle is examined somewhere it is permitted to stand.
The A406 crosses the district as a fast multi-lane route with grade-separated junctions and very little refuge along the edges. Anything failing there leaves its occupants somewhere genuinely dangerous. The only correct sequence is people behind the barrier, vehicle onto the bed, and every question about the fault postponed until both are clear of the carriageway entirely.
The waterway threads through the southern part of NW10, and the roads bridging it narrow at each crossing with tight approach angles and, in places, a weight or width restriction. Two streets that appear to connect on a map may be separated by water with no crossing between them. Local knowledge of which bridges take a loaded outfit saves a great deal of doubling back.
The residential streets on the eastern side are late Victorian terraces without off-street parking, running up against a long cemetery wall that blocks through movement in one direction. Permit bays fill both kerbs and the carriageway reduces to a single lane. Which end a truck enters by is the whole decision, because there is no turning point once it has committed.
Housing on the Stonebridge side parks residents in enclosed courtyards and beneath blocks, reached through single entrances with controlled access. Headroom and the entry gate are the two obstacles, in that order. Cars are drawn out to the public road for lifting, and finding somebody with a fob after working hours is regularly what determines the length of the visit.
When there is a fixture nearby, the roads across the north of the postcode carry far heavier flows and drivers park optimistically in streets they do not know. A car that then refuses to start has an owner unfamiliar with the area and a road full of unfamiliar traffic. Describing the nearest junction accurately is worth more than any amount of guessing at a street name.
Major works on the southern fringe have altered road layouts, closed familiar turnings and put hoardings across ground that used to be open. What a mapping application shows and what exists on site have diverged in places. Operators working the area rely on current knowledge rather than stored routes, and confirm the approach with the caller before setting out.
