The cheapest TowManVan removal is the medium van at £45/hr with a 2-hour minimum, £90 all-in, which covers most 1 to 2 bed flat moves. A 3 to 4 bed house needs the £60/hr Luton van. Flat Removals
Medium van at £45/hr covers most 1 to 2 bed flat moves inside 3 to 4 hours. £90 minimum on the 2-hour booking, then billed in 15-minute increments.
House Removals
Luton van for 3 to 4 bed houses, typically 5 to 7 hours for a full family move. Same fixed hourly rate whichever day of the week you book.
Extra Helper
Add a second pair of hands only if the job needs it, for tricky stairs or a genuinely heavy load. The app flags when a job is likely to need one before you book.
Packing Service
Trained packers, priced and booked separately so it never inflates the base rate for customers who pack their own boxes. Materials charged at cost.

Where a cheap removals quote usually goes wrong
A low headline figure from a phone quote can look great until the in-home survey adds a long-carry charge, a stairs fee, or simply revises the number once someone's actually seen the property. TowManVan skips the survey entirely: describe the rooms in the app, get a fixed hourly rate immediately, and that's the number you pay.
What's included as standard, not billed as an extra
Fuel, ULEZ and the Congestion Charge where it applies, goods-in-transit insurance and a DBS-checked crew are all inside the published hourly rate. The only add-ons are the second helper and the packing service, both priced separately and shown before you confirm, so a straightforward move never carries costs it doesn't need.
How to keep the total down
Book the van size the app recommends from your room count rather than guessing high, have everything boxed and ready before the crew arrives so you're not paying by the hour while you pack, and skip the helper or packer add-ons if you genuinely don't need them. A prepared 2-bed flat routinely finishes well inside the 2-hour minimum's follow-on billing.
