The exact towing cost is displayed and locked in the app before you tap confirm. No estimate ranges, no variable callout fees, no invoice surprises after the job. The 3am price is identical to the 3pm price - there is no out-of-hours surcharge anywhere.
DBS-checked, insured operators
Every TowManVan tow operator passes five mandatory checks: DBS background check, DVLA verification, trade insurance confirmation, vehicle inspection, and platform training. Ongoing quality is monitored through verified customer ratings.
Correct equipment for every vehicle
EV-safe dollies, flatbed trucks and standard tow vehicles - the right equipment is dispatched for your specific vehicle type. Electric vehicles (Tesla, Nissan Leaf, BMW i3, VW ID, Kia EV6) must not be towed with all wheels on the ground, and our operators handle this correctly every time.

Wheel-lift towing can destroy modern cars.
Two-thirds of UK cars on the road today are either front-wheel drive, all-wheel drive, hybrid or fully electric. None of those can be safely towed with a wheel-lift (suspended-axle) truck: rotating a driven wheel on the road with the engine off back-feeds through the differential or electric motor and can destroy the transmission, the regenerative braking system, or the EV drive unit. Manufacturer repair bills for wheel-lift damage start at £2,000 and reach £15,000+ for premium EVs.
TowManVan operates a flat-bed-only policy. Every dispatched truck has a tilt-and-slide flat-bed (or for tight urban sites, a wheeled dolly for the non-loaded axle). The vehicle is winched up with the gearbox in neutral, secured at all four corners with recovery straps, and transported with zero road contact - the only towing method approved by Tesla, BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz and most EV manufacturers for a non-driving vehicle.
How pricing works: the local tow (£69) covers the first 10 road-miles from the breakdown to your chosen destination. Medium-distance (£89) covers up to 30 miles. Long-distance (£149) covers up to 75 miles, with any additional mileage quoted transparently before confirm. Every tow includes loading, securing, transport, unloading, full in-transit insurance cover up to market value, and a photo-verified handover at the destination.
